Skirts for men in Germany

I was wondering how the skirt for men movement is doing in Germany. Are there manymen who wear them outside. Are there many articals in the newspapers or magazines. Many websites in German language about it. Are there more German forums or is this the only one. etc. etc.

You see many questions. Just wondering if some of you can answer them.

I was wondering how the skirt for men movement is doing in Germany. Are there many men who wear them outside.

I don't beleive that you can call it a movement. There are a few men wearing skirts outside the own flat, much more wearing it only inside, and I beleive a lot of men who would like to wear? But I can't beleive that they are so much more than in your country, measured against population.

Are there many articals in the newspapers or magazines.

I think the most you can read in Suisse and in France. It is depending on the activities from a few persons as Heinz in Suisse ore the club (hommes en jupe) in France, and from the manufacturers as Amok (Suisse) and Menintime (Germany).

ob man überhaupt von einer Rockbewegung sprechen kann, darüber ist man sich hier uneinig.
Fakt ist, es gibt eine Hand voll Männer die Röcke öffentlich tragen. Sieht man von manchen Veranstaltungen mal ab, auf denen sich Männer mit Kilts oder kiltähnlichen Röcken gelegentlich vermehrt einfinden, ist es extrem unwahrscheinlich, dass Du  im normalen Straßenbild einen Mann mit einem Rock sehen wirst.

Reine Männerrockforen kenne ich außer diesem hier nur: http://www.forum.tervara.de/forum/ , das aber mittlerweile so gut wie tot ist. Manchmal wird auch an anderes Stelle wie z.B. hier: http://www.med1.de/Forum/Schoenheit.Wohlfuehlen/150705/ diskutiert, aber insgesamt ist das Interesse in der Gesellschaft im allgemeinen und bei den deutschen Männern im speziellen, sehr gering. Diesbezüglich hat sich in den 10-15 Jahren in denen ich mich damit intensiver beschäftige kein bisschen geändert – so erwarte ich es auch für die nächsten 15 Jahre.
Ich hoffe jenseits der Grenze sieht’s besser aus…

Thanks for the reactions. Some sites gave me a few new links. Thanks for that. It would be nice if more countries had a forum about skirts for men. This would give it a good start to see them in the streets more.

Wiha, this is a good site! I was on www.skirtcafe.org but it's a bit dry to be honest. It's all old men. There needs to be a site in UK like yours, but H&M are selling kilts for men. Hopefully they will make some nicer skirts for men soon.

They seem to be very "masculine"orientated in terms of fashion that is a bit restrictive to me.That is why I came here but I am having troubles with not speaking German.
